Fiona Connolly
Dancer & Designer

I live at the intersection of dance and design. As a student at Roger Williams University, I’m passionate and creative, dedicated to bringing artistic visions to life. My background in dance, which includes four awards and training with celebrated mentors like Adrienne Hawkins, Christopher Huggins, and Dianne Walker, has given me a deep understanding of expression and discipline. This passion seamlessly blends with my work in graphic design.

I’ve been able to merge these two worlds through my role as a youth leader, dance teacher and graphic designer at Art Heals, where I help young people discover their love for the arts while creating brand-focused visuals. My design skills have been recognized through my work on a logo for a local dance company and an exhibit featuring my art, which led to this incredible opportunity.

Ultimately, my goal is to continue dancing—whether by performing or teaching—while building a career as a graphic designer, especially within the fashion industry. I believe my unique blend of skills allows me to approach every project with both an artist’s eye and a designer’s precision. I’m eager to contribute to projects that allow me to make a meaningful impact in both fields.

About Dance Theatre

x,The Dance Theatre program is open to majors, minors, or people who are taking a dance class that are just interested in doing more. Dance theatre is counted as one credit and is a program where you audition, get chosen for dance pieces, then at the end of the semester put on a four day show. This program is required for Majors but otherwise is just for fun. The good thing about this is that you can audit Dance Theatre which means you can take it for no credit, it’s super interesting and a great experience.
